Kilalo is a DRC-focused venture studio that builds companies and co-builds with Congolese entrepreneurs using our proven V2S methodology, expert network, and shared services.Our Story
Kilalo was born from a simple observation: the Democratic Republic of Congo is home to some of the most innovative and resilient entrepreneurs in Africa. Yet many of these businesses struggle not from lack of vision or market opportunity, but from the absence of structured systems and strategic clarity needed to scale sustainably.So we built a venture studio. We create companies internally to tackle the DRC's biggest challenges, poverty, hunger, access to justice, and we co-build with Congolese founders who are already in the arena. When founders partner with Kilalo, they get more than advice: they get our V2S methodology, access to our network of experts and fellow founders, and shared services like accounting, administration, and infrastructure.Every company in our portfolio, whether built by us or co-built with a founder, follows the same proven path: from an initial assessment score of around 20 points to 80 or more. That's the Kilalo difference. We don't consult, incubate, or train. We build companies.
